A typical microCT of a mouse takes about 8 minutes, PET about 20 minutes, Hybrid PET/CT about 40 minutes and MRI about 45 minutes.

Animal Care Requirements
All small animal imaging procedures must be conducted under an approved University of Wisconsin animal use protocol. Once animals undergo imaging procedures they must be returned to a designated quarantine room. They may not be returned to a SPF level area. Please contact facility staff for more information regarding housing requirements and options. |
