A major goal of the Retreat is to enable UWCCC members and researchers to learn about each other’s research and the UWCCC’s shared services through informal face-to-face discussions at posters, in the hope of facilitating collaborative research.

Each UWCCC member attending the retreat may submit one poster title to present at the retreat.

There will be two poster sessions totaling about 2 hours of poster viewing and discussion. Each poster will be assigned to one of the two sessions. See Program Schedule for times. Member-submitted posters must be “staffed” by the submitting UWCCC member (co-presenters may also be present).

Judging for the Temin, Rusch and Carbone awards will take place during the poster sessions. Priority for awards will be given to research posters that include transdisciplinary collaboration. In order for posters to be eligible for an award, the UWCCC member must attend the retreat and be present at their poster during the poster session.

Only 80 member-submitted posters will be displayed. The first 80 submissions will be accepted. The deadline for submitting your poster title and list of authors is January 18, 2008.

Gordon Conference Rules

This retreat will follow Gordon Conference Rules. All lectures, slides and poster data are confidential and will not be photographed, recorded or published, to encourage open presentation of the most recent and important unpublished data by UWCCC members.
