RACE FOR THE CURE 2008 – Join the UW Health-Carbone
Cancer Center Team!
UW Health and the UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center are once
again joining forces and putting together a team for the 11th Annual Madison
Race for the Cure. The run/walk for breast cancer will take place
on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Willow Island/Alliant Energy
Center.
Two ways to register to be part of the Cancer Center team:
1. Actual Registration Forms:
- Registration forms are available in room K4/658.
- Please return your signed form to K4/658 (mailcode: 6164),
attn: Colleen Gavin.
- The deadline for hard-copy registration forms is May 14.
2. Online Team Registration:
To be part of our team, you can also register online at www.madisonraceforthecure.com. For
online registrations please follow the directions below on the race website. The
deadline to register on-line for our team is May 19.
- Click on the REGISTER tab across the
top.
- Under 3 Ways to Register click on the “register
for an existing team” link.
- The team name you need to choose is
UW Health-Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center.
- Once you have selected the team, click
on it to join and proceed through the next steps to enter your personal
information.
Anyone is welcome to be a part of the team so gather your family and
friends now. It’s simple…so no more excuses! It
only takes a few minutes and you too can get involved in the fight against
breast cancer.
