Postdoctoral Fellow in Kozak Lab

Working title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Official title: Research Associate (Postdoctoral)

Degree and area of specialization: PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology or related field

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Molecular biology expertise required and experience with murine animal models and immunohistochemistry strongly preferred. Must have strong publication track record and excellent presentation and communication skills.

Minimum Salary: Starting salary 40K minimum.

Principal duties: The post-doctoral fellow will be a collaborative participant in laboratory of Dr. Kevin Kozak conducting research on angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis.

Responsibilities include the development and implementation of an independent research program aimed at elucidating mechanisms of anti-angiogenic agent therapeutic efficacy, toxicity and/or resistance development. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to generate, analyze and interpret research results and prepare scientific manuscripts for publication. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to use this data to prepare and submit grants to both federal and non-federal support agencies.
