The UW Carbone Cancer Center's Patient Care Fund supports the needs of our patients and their families while in our cancer-related clinics and inpatient unit. Often, when receiving treatment for cancer, whether in an outpatient clinic setting or on the inpatient unit, there are certain items that can help a cancer patient through the experience. The Patient Care Fund has purchased books, CDs, games and rocking chairs, just to name a few, for cancer patients to use while receiving treatment.
Patient Care Funds are used to support items, often suggested by our patients, that help to make the patient's time in treatment more comfortable and move along more quickly. Contributions to this fund will touch the lives of many patients and their families.
