Contributions to this fund will support Cancer Connect, a patient and physician resource at UW Carbone Cancer Center. Cancer Connect's mission is to make it easy for those with cancer to find reliable and up-to-date information, and assist in guiding patients through the complex maze of health services, cancer physicians, and clinical trials.
The services of Cancer Connect include working directly with physicians and patients to assist with communications, referrals and appointments. Skilled nurses and health educators assist patients in the interpretation and evaluation of medical information. They also provide important referral information for local, regional and national cancer-related resources.
